I am a socially inept college junior with a giant love for science fiction, computer science, and writing. Sometimes, these loves combine, and make little babies called fanfic. Other times, these loves combine and make me whine for days about how incorrect the science on so-and-so television show is. I generally have fun either way.

I am, in general, an OTP shipper. Which basically means that I am fairly picky about what I read in terms of pairings, unless I absolutely trust the author. These OTPs are pretty much always het, although I will read some slash involving other characters. Especially if it's f/f.

I am a chronic lurker.

I love to be liked. However, I'm really tired of not being able to say what I want to say just for fear of offending someone. And I figure -- hey, this is my journal. I should be able to say what I want to. Which is not to say that I'm going to try and be obnoxious, but ... I am who I am, right?

I am a private person -- posts will be friendslocked if they pertain too much to my real life, or if I just decide that I don't want to share it with the world.

I am whiny. I am lazy. I procrastinate like crazy.

Feel free to friend me -- no permission necessary. I'd appreciate a comment on some recent entry just saying hi, but if you want to lurk, you're welcome to. I'll probably friend you back, if we have enough interests in common, but I make no guarantees.

I am going to try to keep this journal spoiler-safe, for the sake of any spoiler-free people who might want to read my journal. Any spoilers for new/unaired episodes will be clearly marked on the original post, and any spoilery comments in unmarked posts will be marked as soon as I see them.
